Dr Jackson will address the interaction of biological factors with behavioural and social influences in the wider environment which might cause or prevent ill-health.

Faculty Research Day, comprising presentations from departments within the faculty, will take place on Thursday, November 12, at the Main Medical Lecture Theatre, University Hospital of the West Indies.

On Friday, November 13, there will be a workshop focusing on child health. The workshop aims to highlight the University of the West Indies' research in child health and development and to provide a forum for discussion of controversial issues related to child health and development.
