Gallery Pegasus is proud to present Andy Ballentine's third solo exhibition titled 'Variations', featuring the artist's signature paintings of fruits and vegetables. He will also show some of his landscape, old houses and a new line of painted bottles.

Born in Spanish Town, St Catherine in 1977, he developed a love for art when he was 10 years old. Ballentine is a graduate of Spanish Town High School and the Visionary Institute of Business. He attended Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts where he obtained a certificate in life drawing. He has participated in a number of group shows in Jamaica and the USA.

His first big break was in 2000 when art-lovers and collectors started collecting his work. Ballentine's medium is oil on canvas and his style is very precise and realistic. The show will run until December 5. Part proceeds will go to the Spanish Town High School Art Department.
