Tivoli closer to second round
Kwesi Mugisa, Gleaner Writer

Tivoli High, who look to have steadied the ship after a shaky start to season, moved one step closer to joining Group E leaders Bridgeport in the second round of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup schoolboy football competition, after holding the St Catherine school to a last-minute 1-1 draw at Ferdie Neita Park.

Even more impressive was the fact that the West Kingston team accomplished the feat after going down to nine men.

Jamiel Hardware gave Bridgeport, who top the table on 20 points the lead in the 39th minute, but Davian Garrison equalised for Tivoli, who are second with 17 points in the 90th.
