LTM tribute to Wycliffe Bennett


The Little Theatre Movement (LTM) will present a tribute to the late Wycliffe Bennett on Monday, October 26 at the Little Theatre. Bennett was a past chairman of the LTM Committee of Management and contributed his time and talents, to the development of the organisation.

The programme will take the form of brief spoken tributes and items of speech, song and dance, all aspects of the theatre with which Bennett was involved.

Invitations have been extended to organisations and individuals who were associated with Bennett in the course of his career. Among the organisations being asked to be represented are the Jamaica Association of Dramatic Arts, the School of Drama, the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, UWI, Centerstage, the National Dance Theatre Company, Movements Dance Company, the Ward Theatre Foundation, the Creative Production and Training Centre, as well as individuals who were associated with Bennett.

The event will be open to friends and members of the cultural community. The programme will commence at 6 p.m.
