FLAIR COUPLES - Our wedding story

Roydel and Nikeisha Williams. - Contributed

"My name is Nikeisha Williams and my husband Roydel Williams and I would like to share our story with you. Our wedding was on Saturday, August 22, at St James Parish Church. It was a hectic day but absolutely wonderful. The Very Reverend Justin A. Nembhard was the officiating minister.

"We had a bridal party of 18. During the ceremony, we were moved by songs including You Raise Me Up, Time to Say Goodbye sung by my cousin A.J. Brown, as well as His Eye is on the Sparrow sung by Myrna Binns. There were no dry eyes on that day; the bride, the guests and yes, even the groom, shed a tear."

The reception was held at Grandiosa Hotel and more than 200 guests were in attendance. The couple danced their first dance to Ave Maria by Beyoncé and it was mixed with some hip hop and reggae to surprise their guests. This was followed by an entertaining piece by A.J. Brown, during which the newly-weds danced with their parents.
