A judge is expected today to sentence a mentally challenged woman who has pleaded guilty to killing her two-year-old son in 2010.
Forty-three-year-old Selvalyn Bowen, of Albion, St Thomas, pleaded guilty to manslaughter last week in the St Thomas Circuit Court.
She had initially pleaded not guilty to killing Donald Davis.
The toddler's body was found on a footpath in Albion on March 17, 2010, shortly after he and his mother left her father's home.
It is alleged that Bowen used a piece of electrical cord to strangle the child and dumped his body along the path.
