ABU DHABI, CMC – Lewis Hamilton won the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix here Sunday to capture his second Formula One drivers title.

Starting from second on the grid and behind main title rival, Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg, Hamilton grabbed the lead early to control the race en route to the chequered flag.

Rosberg suffered mechanical problems and finished 13th.

The Williams pair of Felipe Massa and Valterri Bottas rounded out the podium.
