MONTEGO BAY, St James:
A power outage, currently being experienced at the Sangster International airport in St James, is causing restlessness among passengers and airport employees.
There is also a high level of anxiety at the airport as the facility's bathrooms are equipped with automatic system that need electricity to operate effectively.
This is further compounded by the fact that passengers are finding it very difficult to wash their hands after using the bathrooms.
Passengers have been complaining about feelings of weakness and dehydration as the air conditioning is being restricted.
Some passengers have been left no option but to walk along the tarmac to board their planes as the automatic gateways are also down.
The electricity has been out for approximately an hour.
