Turbid conditions blamed for water disruptions in St Catherine and Clarendon
The National Water Commission (NWC) says the disruption being experienced in sections of St Catherine and Clarendon is because of turbid conditions which has forced the shutdown of at least three facilities.

The NWC says the affected facilities are the Lluidas Vale and Goldmine Treatment Plants in St Catherine and the Peace River Water Supply System in Clarendon.

The utility company says the communities being affected in Clarendon include Peace River, Lodge, Thompson Town, and Elgin.

Over in St Catherine, the NWC says Lluidas Vale, Worthy Park, Cocoa Ridge, Bellfield and Macca Tree are some of the communities which are being affected.

The NWC says customers in these communities will be without water until the turbid conditions have abated.
