KINGSTON, Jamaica:
The retrial of the two fishermen, charged with the murder of three children in a house on September 14, 2004 began in the Home Circuit court today.
Evidence is being led at the trial that Rohan Mccarthy and Ricardo Britton, threw gasolene around Pansy Henry's three-bedroom wooden house and lit it with a bottle torch.
Three of her children, five-year-old twin boys Tyrique and Tyrone Henry and three-year-old Moesha Lee perished in the fire.
The incident took place in Portmore, St Catherine.
Senior Puisne Judge Gloria Smith is presiding at the trial.
A 12 member jury is trying the case.
The men are being represented by attorneys-at-law, Gladstone Wilson and Keith Bishop.
The men are facing a second trial based on a court of appeal ruling.
