KINGSTON, Jamaica:
Member of Parliament for Central Manchester Peter Bunting has signaled his intention to remain in representational politics.

There has been speculation in recent times, that the two term MP was ready to give up his seat.

However, speaking at the Central Manchester Constituency Conference last evening, Bunting made it clear he'll contest his seat at the next general election.

Meanwhile, the Jamaica Labour Party’s proposed candidate for Bunting’s Central Manchester constituency, Dr St Aubyn Bartlett has told the JLP to bank on him to win the seat in the next general election.

Declaring that he has never lost an election, Bartlett told labourites at the Bellefield High School in Manchester that he was confident of victory.
