GLASGOW, Scotland:
Jamaican sprinting superstar Usain Bolt has again denied making insulting comments about the 2014 Commonwealth Games insisting that the reports were lies and that he is looking to put on a show here.

Bolt was reported in an article this week to have said that the multi-discipline event being staged in Glasgow were ‘A bit s***’, but the double world record holder says he has enjoyed his time in the Scottish city so far and is looking forward to putting on a show for the locals.

“It’s a lie,” said Bolt. “I was never worried, I was looking forward to coming out here and having fun, to compete and to do my best to give them a performance.”

“No, she [reporter] asked me how the games was and I said it was OK but I haven’t done much, I've just been in my room and she was like 'Is it fun?' and I said "I guess because I haven’t been out" and I guess she just interpreted that as me saying its sh***y or whatever, but I didn’t appreciate that but that’s how journalists are, sometimes,” Bolt added, shortly after leading Jamaica to a 38.99 win in their 4x100m heat.

“I was never worried about the crowd’s reaction, because I know my true people know that I would never say something like that. I always go to every country with an open mind to see what they represent and what its all about and just to enjoy the culture so for me, its been fun, the people have been wonderful to me and I’ve enjoyed it,” Bolt added.
