Economy of small states to be focus of ECLAC meeting in Guyana
A meeting of the Caribbean Development Roundtable in Georgetown, Guyana will discuss the performance of small states in the global economy at its opening on Wednesday.
The meeting is one of several organised by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
The ECLAC says delegates will discuss the main theme of the May 30 event, “Small States in the global economy after the crisis – towards a new development path”.
On Thursday, ECLAC will convene the 24th session of the Caribbean Development and Cooperation Committee, which will focus on advancing the development aspirations of the sub-region.
