Shooter in BMW X5 still at large
Two days after the driver of a BMW X5 sport utility vehicle reportedly shot and killed a 17-year-old student in Havendale, St. Andrew the police say they still have no leads.

The Constant Spring Police say several detectives have been assigned to the case, but indicates that no one has come forward with information on the whereabouts of the driver or the vehicle which has a damaged rear bumper.

Police reports are that Khajeel Mais, a sixth form student at Kingston College, was shot and killed after the taxi he was travelling in was involved in a collision with the BMW X5 on Highland Drive in Havendale.

Eyewitnesses say following the collision, the enraged driver of the X5 pulled up alongside the taxi and reportedly fired 2 shots, one of which hit Mais in the head. He died at hospital shortly after.

The police say the driver can assist them with their investigations into Mais’ death and are asking persons with information to contact the Constant Spring Police Station at 924-1421, 119, Crime Stop at 311 or the nearest police station.
