If you make the best Christmas cake in Jamaica, share the taste with Food readers, and our panel of expert judges will return the verdict in this year's J.Wray and Nephew Red Label Wine Christmas Cake Contest.
Send your entries to The Gleaner by December 4. If selected, you will be asked to bring your cake to The Gleaner on December 11 and winners will be announced on December 16.
Each finalist will also receive a tray of eggs from the National Egg Farmers' Association.
The 10 finalists will each get a one-litre bottle of Red Label wine to make their cake.All three top winners will get gift baskets of J.Wray & Nephew products. First-place winner gets $30,000; second-place winner gets $20,000 and third-place winner gets 10,000.
There will be a special Gleaner prize for the finalist whose ingredients include as many old-time Jamaican ingredients as possible.
