After weeks of exciting searching, four girls were chosen on Friday, August 14 to compete in the Campari Caribbean Poster Girl competition to be held in St Lucia in September. The unveiling party was held at Fiction nightclub.

Campari's distinctive colour, aroma and flavour have dubbed it a symbol of passion, which expresses itself in terms of seduction and sensuality, making it a famous brand. As such, patrons braved heavy rains to indulge their passion at the unveiling and to meet the finalists who would move to the competition in St Lucia.

Former poster girls

Over the years, Campari poster girls have featured celebrities such as Eva Mendes, Selma Hayek and presently Jessica Alba. One girl from one of five Caribbean countries - Trinidad, Grenada, The Bahamas, St Lucia and Jamaica - will have a life-changing experience and her dream realised by becoming the new Campari Caribbean Poster Girl 2009.

Campari is a contemporary classic bitter Italian aperitif made according to a secret recipe originally developed in 1860. Due to its unique blend of aromatic herbs mellowed in selected spirit, it has over the years to become a drink of choice for Caribbean liquor consumers.
