Unfortunate connotation
The Editor, Sir:

Usain Bolt is deserving of all the honour bestowed on him but I wish the naming of Highway 2000 after him was not one of them.

The name 'Bolt' both as a common and a proper noun connotes speed. I am certain the athlete would not want the statistics associated with his name to include fatalities along that stretch of road. Since it would be embarrassing for the award to be withdrawn I hope that Bolt will graciously decline that particular honour.

I am, etc.,
