KINGSTON, Jamaica:
Marlon King, a disabled man, died this afternoon after he was hit by a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus.


The incident happened some time after one o'clock on Golding Avenue in the vicinity of the University Hospital of the West Indies, St Andrew.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of a number 78 bus stopped to allow King, who uses a wheelchair, to cross the road.

Shortly after, the same bus hit the man.

He died instantly.
