Government hopes to rake in $7.3b in property taxes by March 31

Local Government Minister, Noel Arscott, says he is hopeful that the target set for property tax collection for the current financial year will be met.

The government expects to rake in $7.3 billion by March 31.

According to Arscott, up to October 31, $2.8 billion of the targeted figure was still outstanding.

He says the ministry is on a campaign collect the balance.
