Some St Ann and Trelawny communities to wait longer for water
The National Water Commission (NWC) says residents in sections of Trelawny and St Ann will have to wait a while longer before they receive their regular supply of water.

The Commission says it expected the Daniel Town facility to be back in operation by November 18, and the Lagoon facility by today.

However, the NWC says it has experienced unforeseen challenges which have caused it to push back its work schedule.

The disruption in service is affecting the Texas area and sections of Daniel Town in Trelawny.

And over in St Ann, the communities of Lakeside Park, Hopewell Park, Old Polly and the Discovery Bay main street are being affected.

The NWC says it now expecting to complete its work programme and restore water by Tuesday, December 9.
