Tamara Bailey, Gleaner Writer

KINGSTON, Jamaica:
The Mandeville police are yet to establish a motive for yesterday’s daring daylight double murder on deCarteret Road near the Manchester capital.

It is reported that 44-year-old construction worker, Kenroy Montaque and 45-year-old carpenter Aaron McGeochy were at home around 11 o'clock when a man walked up an ordered a beer from Montaque who was operating a stall at the time.

The attacker reportedly drank the beer then pulled a firearm and opened fire hitting Montaque twice in the head and the other man in his abdomen.

Montaque died on the spot.

McGeochy died at hospital an hour later.

The gunman is reported to have walked from the scene after the shooting.
