Power affects water supply from Rio Cobre system
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that sections of the Rio Cobre Water Supply System in St Catherine are currently out of operation due to problems related to power supply.

It says as a result water supply has been affected to several sections of the Corporate Area and St. Catherine.

The affected areas are Kent Village; sections of Spanish Town; sections of Portmore; communities along Spanish Town Road, Washington Boulevard and Molynes Road; and sections of downtown Kingston.

The NWC says it sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused and is working with the Jamaica Public Service Company to resolve the problems within the shortest possible time.
