Man linked to second bog walk attack under police guard in hospital
The police say they have taken a man into custody in connection with Wednesday’s attack on another man in the Gibraltar district in Bog Walk, St Catherine.

And the police say they also have in their custody a Glock 20 pistol with a magazine containing eight rounds of ammunition which was seized from the scene.

Reports from the Bog Walk Police are that the 45-year-old man was walking along a roadway, when he was approached by a man known to him, who opened fire hitting him.

The police say they were alerted to the scene and on seeing them, the man reportedly ran, leaving behind the weapon.

They say the man, who sustained injuries, was taken to hospital, where he was admitted in stable condition.

The attack in Gibraltar district came hours after three persons were shot and injured in neighbouring Pineapple Lane.
