St Elizabeth woman allegedly stabs 'matey', remanded
A St Elizabeth woman accused of stabbing a woman she believed was involved with her common-law husband was yesterday remanded into custody after she appeared in the Black River Resident Magistrate's Court.

The allegations are that on October 16 Jessica Golding, who resides with her common-law husband, entered the room of a female tenant living at the house and accused her of having an affair with him.

An altercation developed and it is alleged that Golding used a knife to stab the woman in the neck and chest.

The police were called and the woman who had run out of the house and collapsed in the yard was taken to the hospital while Golding was arrested and charged.
Golding is set to reappear in court on November 12.
