Bartlett says he can win Central Manchester seat for JLP
Prospective Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidate for Central Manchester Dr St Aubyn Bartlett told party leader Andrew Holness to bank on him to win the seat in the next general election.

Central Manchester is now represented by the People's National Party's Peter Bunting.

Declaring that he has never lost an election, Bartlett told labourites at the Bellefield High School in Manchester that he was confident of victory.
He says new strategies will be employed to take the Central Manchester seat from the PNP.

Bartlett served for three consecutive terms, up to 2011, as MP for St Andrew Eastern.

Peter Bunting became the Central Manchester MP in 2011 when he beat then JLP challenger, now media executive, Danville Walker, by 539 votes.
