Commonwealth Games: Jamaica's 4x400 and 4x100 men and women relay teams through to finals
Jamaica's 4x400 men and women and 4x100 men and women qualified today for the events finals set for tomorrow in the Hampden Park Stadium at the 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

Jamaica's 4x400 women clocked 3:28.29 seconds to finish first in heat 1 after baton exchanges from Christine Day to Anastasia Le-Roy to Janieve Russell to Shericka Williams.

Australia 3:32.40 took second and Trinidad and Tobago clocked 3:33.26 securing third.

In the men's 4x400 metre relays Jamaica competed in heat two from lane five.

The 4x400 men finished second in 3:03.47 seconds after baton exchanges from Chumaine Fitten to Edino Steele to Hugh Graham Jr to Omar Johnson.

England finished first in 3:03.01 and Scotland finished third in 3:03.94.

In the 4x100 relays Jamaica's men and women finished first in their heats.

In the women's 4x100 Jamaica clocked 42.44 after baton exchanges from Kerron Stewart to Veronica Campbell-Brown to Elaine Thompson to Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

England 43.33 took second place and Canada 43.66 took third.

And in the men's 4x100 Jamaica clocked 38.99 after baton exchanges from Kimmari Roach to Julian Forte to Nickel Ashmeade to Usain Bolt.

Nigeria 39.11 took second and Australia 39.66 third.
