Despite heavy rains yesterday, Director of the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, Jeffrey Spooner says the county is still experiencing drought conditions.

According to the Met Service Director, one shower does not break a drought.

He says based on projections, the country is not expected to receive any appreciable amount of rain in the near future.
