Five track and field athletes will be aiming to add to Jamaica's medal tally at the Commonwealth Games today.
Saniel Atkinson Grier will be the first Jamaican to contest a medal round today as she is down to compete in the women's high jump final, which starts at noon Jamaica time.
Next will be the 24-year-old K'Don Samuels who contests the men's pole vault final; followed by Kellion Knibb and Danniel Thomas in the women's discus final.
The fifth Jamaican in a final today is Danielle Williams in the women's 100 hurdles final.
Jamaica enters the day in ninth position in the medal standings with 18 medals - 16 in track and field and two in swimming.
The 18 medals comprise seven gold, four silver and seven bronze.
