KINGSTON, Jamaica:
The Government is being accused of disrespecting the office of the Opposition Leader by allowing the telephone services to remain disconnected for the past two weeks.

The matter was raised in the House of Representatives yesterday by Member of Parliament for South West St Catherine, Everald Warmington.

Warmington told the House that the telephone at the office of the Leader of Opposition, Andrew Holness was disconnected because of the non-payment of bills.

He said the office was never treated in that manner when the Jamaica Labour Party was in Government.

House Leader, Phillip Paulwell, has given his commitment to resolve the issue.
