Women’s qualifiers serve off today
The NORCECA Group ‘E’ First Round Tournament of the Women’s World Volleyball Championship serves off this morning at the University of Technology.

The two-day tournament will decide which three teams advance to the second round scheduled for next year.

Host nation Jamaica, Barbados, Aruba and the Cayman Islands will compete the spots.

Teams will play two matches today and one tomorrow.

Jamaica’s opening match will be against the Cayman Islands at 11 o’clock in the morning. Then at 8 o’clock, Jamaica will play Aruba in their second game.

The competition’s opening game features Barbados against Aruba. Match time is 9 o’clock in the morning.

Meanwhile, Jamaica’s men’s team will travel to Curacao today for the first round of the World Championship Qualifiers.

Jamaica will play alongside defending Caribbean Champions Bahamas, Martinique and hosts Curacao.

Matches will be played on December 1 and 2.
