Promoters DJ Yeng and Tony British are gearing up to host the first staging of their dancehall event, Gyalopoly. The party will be held on the roof of State Mall, Cross Roads, St Andrew. According to the Breezy Squad, which is representing the promoters, Gyalopoly will bring life to Cross Roads.

"Cross Roads is an area in Kingston that is very popular, but there are hardly ever any hype parties there. So Gyalopoly is about to bring Cross Roads to life as it relates to having a good-quality event that people can chill and have fun," members of Breezy Squad said.

The drink-inclusive event will be held on March 16. Ladies turning out to Gyalopoly will also be treated to fee daiquiri mixes for the entire night. "We want to do something special for the females, because they are our main attraction. If you notice the name, it's made to let them know that Gyalopoly is a women's festival. We basically wanted a name that was fresh and young and we expect a lot of women to turn out," members of Breezy Squad said.

Tickets will cost patrons $1,200 at the gate, which will be open at 9 p.m. However, those persons who purchase their tickets at the presold locations will pay $200 less. Presold tickets can be purchased at Di Trends, Brit Band Fashion and State Mall in Cross Roads. Gyalopoly is being sponsored by LIME, Rum-Bar Rum, State Mall, Bargain Mall, and Post JA.

The venue has a designated parking area and water will be available for detox at the liquor-inclusive bar. "Cross Roads is a peaceful place to party, and the environment is cool and decent for all to indulge. State Mall is the biggest mall in Kingston, so space is no problem," the Breezy Squad representatives said.

DJs booked to deliver the musical juggling at Gyalopoly are ZJ Liquid and ZJ Chrome. The party will also feature appearances from female dancehall artiste Stylish, as well as dancers like Breezy Squad and YVA dancer of the year Randy Rich.
