I could not believe my eyes - carried in both daily newspapers (one, an article; the other, a cartoon) revealing that the Opposition had endorsed what the Government had approved, viz, the VW Super Bowl ad.

Could this be the start of a new rapprochement between our political leaders?

I have long believed that the continual objections by both sides to the other's proposals are, singularly, one of the main factors stultifying our nation's growth.

I pray to God that this could be the start of a new beginning. Hats off to Mr Ed Bartlett. May this just be the start of things to come.
