Port Authority of Jamaica welcomes Kristina Cruise Lines to Montego Bay
William Tatham (left), vice-president cruise shipping and marina operations at the Port Authority of Jamaica, presents a welcome token to Captain Ulf-Peter Linsdtrom.
The Port Authority of Jamaica initiated discussions with the Finnish cruise lines Kristina, four years ago to schedule calls to Jamaica and, as a result, we welcome the Kristina Katarina to Montego Bay for the 2013-2014 winter tourist season.

The schedule includes three calls to Jamaica lasting three days, which provides a port-of-call experience on day one, a passenger exchange on the next day, and a port-of-call experience on the final day. This is a very unique arrangement and the Port Authority is pleased and excited to be included as part of the cruise experience for the Kristina Cruise Lines passengers.

additional exposure

William Tatham, vice-president cruise shipping and marina operations, also noted that "these additional calls by Kristina Cruises will not only provide additional exposure to our cruise offerings, but also positively contribute to the economic activity in Montego Bay".
