Ian Lyn, who organises the Jamaica Motor Show through his company The Firm, promises surprises and excitement at its 2013 staging on Sunday, January 19.

The new and used car show will be held at the Police Officers Club, St Andrew.

Lyn said motor vehicles will be available from $500,000 to $20 million. The show will feature approximately 350 vehicles, including Nissan, BMW, Tata, Honda, Mazda, Audi, Kia and Hyundai brands. Lyn also said a luxury car brand will be introduced there and a few new elements will be introduced such as a food court, live concert and car sound clash.

"There will be a live concert involving Nadine Sutherland and a few other artistes to be confirmed shortly and well-known DJs will also be playing throughout the event. There will also be a food court featuring different types of foods," Lyn said.

Lyn also pointed out that this year the event will be themed, with black and white décor. Children and the young at heart will also be in for a treat as go-karts and X-box gaming will be available. The Jamaica Classic Car Club, Crazy Bikers and 4x4 off-roading club will also be there.

Patrons interested in purchasing a vehicle will also be able to benefit from on the spot financing from a variety of institutions.
