Located at the corner of Southdale Plaza is a little shop that embodies its name to the fullest - The Wine Shop. Opened about two months ago, The Wine Shop is all about the world of wine, helping to change and enhance Jamaican's new found appreciation for wine. Owned and operated by Sean Gonzales and Ahmet Osman, The Wine Shop represents over 25 vineyards with over 100 variety of wines.

The duo are the exclusive importers of the wines they sell. They can only be found at the Island Outpost's three properties, Epic Eats and the Courtleight hotel. The wines are soured from France, South Africa, Italy and New Zealand with plans to explore lesser-known wine countries that produce really fine vintage. "We carry wines from some large, world-renowned vineyards as well as some less known vineyards because variety is key for us," explains Ahmet Osman.

And variety they have; from red to white, rosť, Champagne to Prosecco. Wines for that elegant dinner, a simple lyme with friends or your special day. And when it comes to a special gift for that wine connoisseur in your life, they have some wines that age very well, appreciating in value as they do.

And to help you with making the perfect choice each day, The Wine Shop has a tasting bar with a variety of wines on the menu. So stop in any day you choose and have a sip, there is so much to discover at The Wine Shop.
