Hot Stuff - Marvellous mummies in media
Seven fabulous new mothers who are all media practitioners have shared their personal stories of motherhood with Flair which we present to you. We also got snapshots of their ultra-fashionable side, courtesy of Alter Ego after they whipped their bodies back in shape. Motherhood has never been this sexy!

'Be-dazzled' - Go get the glow
Glitz and glam dominate this Christmas as sequins have once again taken the lead in the fashion trends for the festive season.

Scent of Christmas
It is the season of sharing, and one very popular gift item will definitely be scents. Fragrances are top sellers this time of year, and those not in the know can easily get carried away.

Wasting money, deadly dogs and dirty doctors
So, it's happening all over again, politicians are just wantonly spending my tax dollars and then bitching about it when I cry foul! This could only happen in Jamaica. I don't care how they spin it. These harsh economic times are not exactly appropriate to go spending like we have limitless foreign reserves.

Should getting divorced be easy?
Under Jamaican law, it is very difficult to predict how long divorce proceedings will take. This is because the system remains desperately flawed. The changes introduced in 2006 were intended to make it easier by enabling a judge to grant a divorce decree without ever having the parties attend court. But the new rules have not worked.

Media Mummy - Kamila McDonald
Elated. It's funny, but our pregnancy was actually planned. I was in the middle of grad school ,but we decided and then we changed our minds because the moment when we decided I would have been in the middle of my second year and that wouldn't be conducive to studying. So we waited until I was closer to coming back home. We were waiting on the right time, but then who knows when is the right time.

Media Mummy - Jenny Jenny
Ecstatic and full of worship.

Media Mummy - Carlette
Shocked and happy.

Media Mummy - Amita
It was a roller coaster of emotions. I went from being excited to down right scared then anxious, then completely ecstatic all in a matter of minutes.

Media Mummy - Yendi
Elated. I was also a little concerned about my career and getting my body back, but I was thrilled because I have always wanted to be a mother.

Media Mummy - Terri-karelle
Funny enough, I wasn't over the moon or jumping for joy. when I found out it was utter shock: I was totally blindsided because I wasn't planning it, wasn't expecting it, wasn't prepared...

Media Mummy - Empress
I was elated. It was like a dream come true, especially since the baby was conceived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was an exciting time because I was planning my wedding at the same time. I took about five pregnancy tests just to make sure because I couldn't believe it.

A barrel of love
On September 22, Andrea Brown and Phillip Cargill exchanged 'I dos' at the Registrar General's Department in St Catherine. The couple met in 2010 when Brown went to collect a barrel at Freight Handlers in Newport West.

Batman, my hero
Looking back on all the comic books I read as a child, I think my favourite hero was Batman. Sure, I could never live up to his alter ego Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy. I certainly can't do the billionaire part unless I strike oil soon and somebody already invented the Internet, Google etc.
