Cornwall mayors give themselves full marks
After eight months on the job, the five mayors in the county of Cornwall are giving themselves passing grades with regard to keeping their inauguration promises, in which they pledged to effectively meet their respective obligations to those they serve.

Western Focus spoke to five persons, who are known for their no-nonsense views, to get their take on the performance of the respective mayors in Cornwall.

Outstanding high-school students awarded
Academic excellence was celebrated last Thursday as 90 high-school students from across Jamaica received the Association of Principals and Vice-Principals Award for outstanding academic performances in their external examinations at a ceremony in Montego Bay.
