Xyhir will always be remembered
THE EDITOR, Sir:

LIKE MANY, I cried when I read that little Xyhir Ince had suffered a stroke, and cried even harder when he passed because I earnestly joined in the prayer for a miracle. His life is truly an inspiration to me and has certainly renewed my faith in God. When I first read his story, I was riddled with anxiety about what I thought were challenges with my three-year-old, but when I saw what he and his family were experiencing, I realised that my troubles came nowhere close.

Sometimes, we think we have it bad, but when you hear another person's story, you realise that you are blessed by God and really have nothing to complain about. It is, therefore, necessary to praise God in every circumstance because no matter how bad we think things are, they could be worse.

Xyhir has reaffirmed for me that life must celebrate every day. I thank God for the life he lived and the faith he shared. I pray for the continued strength of his family who showed extraordinary courage and resilience in face of tragedy. I don't think I will ever forget Xyhir Ince.
