The junior Reggae Girlz were outclassed 6-0 by United States in their opening match on Thursday. The Vin Blaine-coached team is desperate for a victory and defeat against the Mexicans would end their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup.
Jamaica will have to improve their game in all departments on the field against the very physical and hard-running Mexicans who are second in the Group - on goal difference - after beating Trinidad and Tobago 2-1.
Strikers Semone Honeyghan and Sashana Campbell are expected to lead the Jamaica charge for goals.
The US and Mexico have three points, while Jamaica and Trinidad and Togao are yet to get off the mark.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the of semi-finals will advance to the World Cup, and the winners of the third-place play-offs will secure the final spot at the World Cup tournament.
The other contestants are Group A's Guatemala, Cuba, Canada and Costa Rica.
