IRONSHORE, St James:

Godfrey Dyer, the man with the Midas touch, and his wife, Odette, are already turning around the fortunes of the Total service station in Ironshore, St James, after acquiring it only 12 weeks ago.

The Dyers hosted an official opening on Saturday, December 19, and invited their business partners and friends to celebrate the milestone with them.

Total executive Eric Stephenson praised the new operators for their insight and innovation. He said the choice of an operator for the station had to pass a vigorous test but the Dyers easily fit the bill.

President of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce, Lloyd B. Smith, welcomed the new thrust of the Dyers and wished them well. Guest speaker, minister of state in the Ministry of Mining and Energy, Laurence Broderick, also applauded the Dyers.

A café has been added to the service station, attracting a large number of patrons.
