1. Word is it's now a deal cast in 'Stone' as the consultant is now the shortlisted one for the post of consul general to New York.

2. The outfit has been photographed on at least two occasions prior to its latest outing! Some are now asking that it be 'retired in the public interest'.

3. Some say the advisers fell down on the job ... yet again, as the head should not be the one taking to the airwaves and television screens trumpeting 'bad news'.

Making friends

4. The 'ugly duckling' and her 'poison pen' have been trying to make amends lately. Seems business is really bad, so instructions are that she should make amends. So now she is going around town brown-nosing!

It's time for recession plates!

5. In keeping with the times, large dinner plates have been replaced at some functions. Instead, hosts and hostesses are now using 'Recession-Plates' (side-plates).

6. Some say the current exodus is reminiscent of that of the 1970s when five flights per day were not enough for the skilled and young to get out before it was too late!

Some say it is true that some media houses are more than a little two-faced to be talking about cleaning up pop-culture, especially the music, when various media houses are the ones lending their names via sponsorship and promotions to the various shows hosted across the length and breadth of the island, advertising the 'artistes' who are the purveyors of profanity and vulgarity!
