In your Tuesday, December 15 edition, Brian-Paul N. Welsh made an essentially ad hominem response to Shirley Richards' commentary 'Religious freedom under threat' in the issue of Sunday, December 13.
It would advance the discussion if Welsh were to tell the Jamaican public what exactly he means by "non-heterosexual" and how support of such lifestyles would advance the public good.
Does the term include "all sexuals" such as zoophillia (bestiality) and should tolerance be extended to this lifestyle as well? Also, what renders exclusive support for hetero-sexual relationships and protection of human life from conception morally bankrupt?
I am, etc.,
