A crisis of leadership

( L - R ) Seaga, Phillips, Seivwright, Fider, Johnson

Have poor political leaders over the years robbed Jamaica of its chance for economic growth?

Have selfish private-sector leaders plundered the country in search of personal gain?

Have the people of Jamaica been too accepting of poor leaders? Are Jamaicans getting what they deserve for the choices they have made over the years in selecting leaders?

What can we do to hold our leaders' feet to the fire and demand the service that we deserve?

Who are the leaders in the private or public sector that we can hold up to our children and say, here is someone to emulate?

These and other questions are answered in The Gleaner tomorrow by a panel of experts, including former Prime Minister Edward Seaga, Dr Peter Phillips, a former government minister, pollster Bill Johnson, Daniel Fider from the Northern Caribbean University, and Delano Seivwright, president of Generation 2000.
