Dr Kimberly Martin, daughter of retired assistant commissioner of police Arthur 'Stitch' Martin and Norma Heywood, graduated from the University of the West Indies on November 7, with degrees in medicine and surgery. She is now an intern at Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay, St James. Her uncle, Superintendent Norman Heywood, also graduated, with a master's degree in national security (strategic planning).

Family members and friend recently gathered at Waterfalls in Liguanea for a private celebration.
