Organiser Kingsley Scott said patrons should come prepared for an exciting showdown.
"There'll be two separate sound system clash segments - Best of the West and the Best of the Best," Scott said.
The organiser explained that the Best of the West segment will see nine car sounds from western Jamaica vying for bragging rights while Best of the Best features a six-car face-off.
Past winner Lance McDonald of White Camry is confident that he will retain his crown.
"I'm coming all out ... It'll be lot of excitement and fun," he told Automotives. "I have one of the best car sounds in the island. I have a lot of trophies and titles to prove it," he continued.
only competitor
McDonald, who lives in the resort town of Ocho Rios, St Ann, said his only competitor is former winner, Yumi.
"Yumi is a tough competitor ... . It was a hard battle with her the last time," he said.
Scott said patrons would also be in on the act.
"There will be a mobile phone clash during the intermission," he said.
"Paticipants for the phone clash would be chosen from the crowd ... there'll be lots of prizes and surprises," Scott said.
The Best of the West features Onei, Soundstream, Mr D, Hiphonics, JUTA Hifi, Cool Zone, Yellowbird, Five Star and Crackie.
The main event, Best of the Best, will see White Camry, Naseve, City Fusion, Nankang Kicker, Sniper and Yumi.
