LIME tennis finals on at Eric Bell
New champions will be crowned in the boys' division of the LIME Inter-Secondary Schools Tennis championship after number one seeds Campion College ousted defending champions Hillel 4-1 in semi-final action at the Eric Bell Tennis Centre yesterday.

Campion, who captured the eastern zone of qualifying, first took three of the four singles matches before rounding off with a win in the doubles category.

Ramone Doyley, Andrew Bicknell and Kristov Gayle led the way for Campion, who will now face Wolmer's Boys in today's final at the same venue.

Wolmer's Boys thrashed Jamaica College 6-1 in the other semi-final, with singles and doubles victories from Corey Richmond, Alex Anderson and Kareem Flowers.

Immaculate still on course

Meanwhile, in the girls semi-finals, also played at the Eric Bell Centre, Immaculate stayed on course for a repeat after drubbing western zone champions Montego Bay High 6-1.

Michaelann Denton, Soman Khemlani, Serena Harjam and Megan Viera led the way for the girls from the Second City.

The girls from Constant Spring Road will face Wolmer's Girls in the final after the latter rode by Holy Childhood 6-1, thanks to victories from Phadria Kepple, Sarah Orett and Kalise Kelly.

The finals of both sections will begin at 9 a.m. today.
