Friend Cam caught up with these two fellas on Constant Spring Road, St Andrew, participating in a Jagra and New Line Motors photo shoot promoting their new-found friendship and party.

How did you two become friends?

Robert Spencer (RS): I met Mandela through a mutual friend.

Mandela Semaj (MS): Bobby and I met through a mutual friend going to a beach party; this was around six months ago.

What has this new-found friendship led to?

(Responding with laughter) Partying, hanging out, drinking - responsibly - and a good friendship.

This friendship led to a lot of emphasis on partying and networking and the formation of Stimulated.

You both mention party. Stimulated, was this an idea as friends, or as business partners?

Clearly an idea as friends.

It was brought about on a friend level but quickly developed into a business or, better yet, a partnership. I wanted a pool party because I saw the need to have a fun, all-inclusive event, and I knew Bobby would be the perfect friend to plan it with.

After the event, do you two think the friendship will last, and what else will this collaboration bring to the party scene?

Well, this event has nothing to do with our friendship. It's just to see if we can handle our friendship, as well as being business partners, and this collaboration will bring a difference to the party scene.

The friendship will definitely last after the party because Bobby and I have other things in common outside of the event and we will have a lot more events to come.

Who made the decision for the location of Stimulated, or was it unanimous? And why there?

We created a list and we just narrowed it down to a few, then we chose the best out of it. Why House of Kumasi? (He sighs.) Why not! It has a homey feeling to it but still has an exclusive touch. When people hear the words 'pool party', they think friends, family, good company and vibes. On November 28, people will definitely experience that.

We both went over numerous locations and decided that the House of Kumasi would be best for the type of event.
