PORT ANTONIO, Portland:
Lorna Golding, wife of Prime Minister Bruce Golding, is urging persons to make the best use of skills training and other educational opportunities made available by Heartbeats of The World Incorporated in Portland.
Mrs Golding was guest speaker at a function put on by Heartbeats of the World at the old Port Antonio Marina on Wednesday.
She said the time had come for educators to be entrepreneurs of education.
The basics, Mrs Golding explained, were important to learn in any field of study or exercise.Having that knowledge, she said, would take those who availed themselves of the training being provided by Heartbeats, to the top of the entrepreneurial ladder.
At the end of the function, graduates from the Heartbeat learning centre located at Spring Bank in Portland, received awards and certificates.
