Mounting calls

1 As the pressure mounts, calls are growing for the one who was forced into retirement to be recalled and placed in charge once again.

Personal assistant?

2 The young lass who turned up on the arm of the official was described as his new personal assistant. The fact that she was going around questioning others as to who the host was at the high-profile event seemed to have suggested otherwise, at least to some. And if that was not enough, her displeasure at not being seated beside her escort at the head table was enough to give away the game.

What's the price?

3 The beneficiaries are asking that an explanation be given in writing for the discrepancies between the sum the lawyer alleges she collected for the sale of the prime piece of real estate and the price the purchaser alleges he paid. The sum is more than US$250,000.

4 The whispers are getting louder and they are asserting that those looking for the missing items should look no further than to those in whose care they were entrusted!

Dissing the guard

5 Now some are asking that the minister be made to publicly apologise for his behaviour. Last week, he verbally abused and brushed aside the objections as he forcibly pushed aside the security officers on duty who objected to his entering the secured area at the facility without valid authorisation.
