Rae Town currently lead the standings with 10 points after amassing three wins and one draw in their first four games, while Mountain View have eight points due to their two wins and two draws.
Rae Town clipped Real Mona 1-0 last week, thanks to a 65th- minute strike from Kayon Leslie, while Mountain View played to a goaless draw with fourth-place Constant Spring.
Both teams boast an impressive defensive record having conceded only one goal apiece in their opening four games. On the offensive side, Rae Town have scored 13 goals, as opposed to five by Mountain View.
Biggest problem
Mountain View's coach, Omar Stanley, believes that his team's biggest problem is nerves.
"We are trying to get the concentration level high, get the players composed. We are in unfamiliar territory as this is our best start in a season," Stanley said.
He attributes the good start by his team - which struggled to avoid relegation last season - to early preparation and a high level of discipline. He is, however, aware of Rae Town's potent strike force, but believes his strong defence will be up to the task.
"We have a very good defence and a good goalkeeper in Andrew Sewell and our top marksman, Troyland Williams, will be at his best," Stanley said. "We played Waterhouse on Wednesday night and we drew 0-0. So the game will come down to how we execute in the final third and how composed we are.
"Expect us to show up and compete," he added.
Michael Francis, coach of Rae Town, is confident that if his team plays as they can, they should come away winners.
"We have to show respect to our opponents but we just need to play a tactical and disciplined game," Francis said. "Once we do that, I don't see any reason why we should not win."
Francis said that their good start are a direct result of the way the players reacted to training and their willingness to learn.
"It is going to take commitment and dedication for the team to maintain our current standing. Things are not perfect, but they are getting there," Francis said.
